The announcement of Thor: Love and Thunder at the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic Con 2019 earned thunderous applause from the audience, and while it was big news that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will be returning to wield the hammer as Thor, we’d be remiss not to dive into the other piece of tantalizing information revealed: According to actress Tessa Thompson, with her character Valkyrie now the ruling King of Asgard, the fourth Thor movie will feature her quest for a queen.
