Monsters at Work, an animated sequel series based on Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., is coming to the Disney+ streaming service, with Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprising their roles as Mike and Sulley.
The series, which is set to premiere in 2020, will once again take place in the city of Monstropolis. The Monsters, Inc. power plant is now harvesting laughter from children instead of screams, generating ten times more energy in the process.
The series will introduce new monsters alongside several returning favorites, such as John Ratzenberger’s Yeti, Jennifer Tilly's Celia Mae, and Bob Peterson as Roze, the twin sister of the original film’s Roz. Monsters at Work follows Ben Feldman’s Tylor Tuskmon, an eager and talented young mechanic on the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team who dreams of working his way up to the factory Laugh Floor to work alongside his idols Mike and Sulley.
