Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy of films will return to IMAX screens in a five-city, 70mm film special engagement in honor of Batman’s 80th birthday.
Announced by Warner Bros. Pictures, all three films in the trilogy - Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises - will be shown back-to-back on Saturday, March 30 at the Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood, California. Between the second and third movies, Nolan himself will join the audience for a moderated Q&A discussion about the films.
This will be followed by April 13 showings of the trilogy at AMC Lincoln Square in NYC and the AMC Metreon in San Francisco. Finally, April 20 showings at Cinesphere Ontario Palace, Toronto and the IMAX Theatre at the Indiana State Museum, Indianapolis will wrap up the event. These will be accompanied by the footage of Nolan’s LA Q&A session.
