Pedro Pascal has been cast as the lead in the upcoming Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian, which will be streaming on Disney's new service, Disney+, according to Variety.
Pascal -- known best for his roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos -- had been rumored for the part, but sources said multiple actors were being considered and nothing was confirmed. Sources close to Variety have now said negotiations are underway and Pascal has officially been offered the role.
